A high-density polyurethane foam, Azo-Core is a high-performance thermal barrier that can be placed into aluminum framing to interrupt the flow of energy across the assembly. It has a thermal conductivity that is over 5,000 times lower than the aluminum in which it is installed. The extremely low conductivity enables the aluminum fenestration equipped with Azo-Core to meet the ASHRAE 90.1-2022 U-factor requirements and the product has been rated for use in Miami, Minneapolis, and all of Alaska.
