The Keneda Building at Georgia Tech used American Hydrotech’s Garden Roof and Ultimate Assembly to help achieve Living Building Challenge (LBC) 3.1 Certification. By using transparent materials that show where a product comes from, what it is made of, and where it goes at the end of its life, Hydrotech’s assemblies help meet the LBC’s high standards. The Garden Roof Assembly and Ultimate Assembly consist of waterproofing/roofing membrane, insulation, architectural pavers, green roof components, growing media, and even the vegetation for extensive applications.
