The Don CeSar hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida, has been welcoming travelers for nearly a century. While the property boasts a glamorous history, after over 90 years, it was time for a full-scale renovation. Parker-Torres Design, the architecture firm that led the project, needed to find a solution to provide ADA-compliant, second-story access to a new poolside bar and chose the Clarity wheelchair lift to provide the improved access without physically compromising the historic hotel.
The Clarity wheelchair lift requires a small footprint and needs only 4 ft. of clearance for installation on the existing floor. Parker-Torres chose a custom color so the lift would match the finish of the hotel bar.
