Disguised as attractive cladding, this five bifold door, designed by WRNS Studio, as part of Schweiss Doors’ designer bifold liftstrap line, gives this kiosk-style cafe at the San Francisco Civic Center the right touch for the plaza. Consisting of laser-cut stainless-steel panels, the doors open on all sides. When closed, they blend into the building design so passersby don’t even see them.
