Emerging as a sightline solution for the University of Virginia Hospital patient tower expansion, a team of designers, builders, and healthcare professionals helped Construction Specialties develop the Acrovyn Curved Door. Designed as strategically placed radius doorways to maximize staff’s ability to easily view patients, the system takes up a smaller footprint and delivers the durability and longevity required of healthcare settings.
This product won a 2023 PIA with one judge commenting, “This product is a successful blend of form and function, giving nurses clear lines of sight patients while creating a sense of privacy for patients with an easy-to-use sliding door.”
