With metal mesh panels etched with a signature raven’s wing, Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium went for the gold—LEED Gold that is. The mesh, manufactured by Cambridge Architectural, helped M&T Bank Stadium become the first outdoor professional sports facility in the U.S. to earn the sought-after certification. The 32 stainless mesh panels provide airflow, comfort from the elements and views of downtown for guests accessing the stadium’s upper levels via pedestrian ramps and stadium escalators. The etching process darkened the polished stainless steel with a matte finish—in the shape of a raven’s wing, of course.
