The largest Catholic church in the state of Oklahoma sought to erect a large, majestic structure to honor the martyr and beatified priest Stanley Rother. They wanted the roof to replicate the traditional clay tile common in central America, while being capable of withstanding the severe weather in Oklahoma City. Looking for a solution, the project team discovered Brava tile. Not only was their composite Spanish Barrel Tile and Slate capable of both emulating the authentic earthen tile look and weathering the elements, but the lighting weight synthetic material was much more affordable.
