The design of the Battle Building at UVA’s Children Hospital features two luminous serpentine walls in the main entry plaza and third floor reception area. The project involved structural design, thermoforming and lighting schematics with precise templates for flawless installation. The use of light and different colors creates a warm and comforting experience that helps define fun, bright and cheerful waiting areas for children and families.
